Keep your hands clean and learn about digital sculpting in this free class taught by design, animation and CGI tutor Klaasz Breukel.
3D sculpting (or digital sculpting) is creating and shaping a 3D object on a computer in what can best be described as digital clay. The software contains brushes and tools that allow you to push-pull, pinch and smoothens your object resulting in detailed sculpts that mimic real-world textures and objects.
This fun and accessible introduction course uses free software applications. No 3D computer experience is needed, but you must be familiar with a PC environment and know your way around a computer.
Computers are provided, but if you would like to take your work home, please bring a USB stick.
